Howdy staggerers! I have some questions for whomever is "in charge" of membership to your fine camp.
I am part of a small group of campers that we call "Philandia". There is about 15 of us. Last year we had placement because a bunch of our group made a CORE project. This year we don't have such a luxury, and we're kinda small anyways and many of our members are in a fire-performing conclave that will be performing in the pre-burn ceremony so running a full-on theme camp would be difficult for us. A fellow Philanderer mentioned you guys and suggested that i contact someone here and see if you guys could help us by letting us piggy-back on your placement. I am personally not engaged at the burn yet so I would be super willing to volunteer to help with anything you guys need help with. We have our own camp stuff, so we will be very minimal annoyance for you all. And also, we're awesome. Also, did I mention we're fire performers? You like fire, right? ;-D
Joining Stag is pretty simple. Have each person or couple in your group register with the site, create their profile, and write introductions in this year's intro thread. The intro thread is cool because it's how we get to know each other before we hit the playa. Be sure to include a good email address in the profiles--that's how we do camp registration as the event gets closer. After that, participate however you want. We have an events spreadsheet set up, anything y'all want to join in on or add is welcome. We don't have any required duties, dues, or events--Stag functions as well as it does because we have a boatload of very independent people doing what they want, which usually means awesome things coming from happy participants.
It's my job to educate Sparkle Ponies...I'm not nice about it...don't be a Sparkle Pony and we'll get along just fine.
