Dunno - i was cold this morning and started looking at playa coats. Started dreaming about making one. I think thats my Christmas present to me this year is a bunch of great faux fur to make a coat!
Beyond that - Tecate and friends are REALLY important!
My packing list from this year was a 5-page Word .doc (okay, page 5 is a To Do List countdown, and page 4 lists only food & beverages) but my favorite things are:
Lip balm Notebook Goggles Riding boots Stainless martini glass
3 pair gloves 3 hats-One sturdy wide brim and 2 base ball 3 gallons of alcohol for me 3 gallons of alcohol to give away 3 adjustable wrenches 3 pairs shoes 3 person couch 3 or more bikes to give away 3+1 field phones and telephone line 3 lip balm per day - Give away what you don't use 3 hugs a day minimum 3 extra TP Single ply RV style 3 refuse containers-1burnable 2recycleable 3trash 3 DMV permitted vehicles- SY GC GC2
-lots of tecate -bottle of jameson -bottle champange -a little pot to hold it all together -a fellow stagger to make sure you get home ok
all that and a bunch of camping shit that everyone already knows about.... and 18 tons of rebar...because you CAN'T survive 15 mins.on the playa without rebar!
Sharpie Water Bottle Smile Green Cowboy Hat Fuzzy Coat Dancin' Shoes (aka Combat Boots) All the fun clothes I wish I could wear every day but but don't cuz even I get a bit self conscious when kids point at me and laugh here in Default
It's my job to educate Sparkle Ponies...I'm not nice about it...don't be a Sparkle Pony and we'll get along just fine.
Be sure to pack plenty of light to see and be seen, and plenty of oxycodone for yourself and other injured burners! oh yeah DO NOT forget sun 8-)glasses
